Arrive in a place where life is lived in accordance with tradition, where warriors armed with spears drive their cattle into thorn bush enclosures to protect them from lions at night. But Nairobi is also one of the most important commercial cities in East Africa. A city with a thriving central business district, including African headquarters for most International companies such as Microsoft, Google, the United Nations and WHO headquarters. We wanted to create a destination which merged these two concepts where nature met ambition. Kwetu - step over the threshold and into a storied yet contemporary space as design details – from Swahili craftsmanship to centuries-old Massai motifs – unite the traditional and the contemporary in an atmosphere of possibility that is quintessentially Kenyan. A place for local creative minds, international delegates and jet setters in one of Africa’s most exciting cities, Kwetu is our space, your home.
